Prepare your ground or concrete slab. A concrete slab is not required for most of our buildings (certain larger commercial buildings do require slab) and we can install right on the ground. The choice is yours to make and we will make sure to anchor properly depending on surface you choose to use. The building footprint length is one foot shorter than the roof length (example: 18x31x10 building needs 18x30 slab). Slab thickness is dependent on your needs. In most cases a 4 inch slab dug an inch or two deeper on the perimeter will be sufficient. While perfectly level ground is ideal, we only require that your ground be within 4 inches of being level. Setup can take hours and sometimes days depending on size, style and features so please keep that in mind when scheduling.
